MOXI Junction Launches Kickstarter Campaign

MOXI Junction needs a little help getting over the final hill.

Namely, the kitchen, a $60,000 project.

So the owners of the soon-to-be-opened Maize coffeehouse have started a Kickstarter campaign to close the gap. Kickstarter funds a variety of projects, provided the “creators” raise a portion of the money themselves within a specified period of time. In MOXI Junction’s case, the target is $20,000 by July 20, 2014.

So far, the appeal has netted about $1,000 from 12 backers. Pledges start at $1. To support the Kickstarter project, click here.
